Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-07-06

MiniFreezer.com is an independent research-and-comparison guide for chest, upright, and compact freezers. We designed it to collect as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no logins, and no forms that ask for personal information. This policy explains what limited data is involved when you browse the site and click through to a retailer.

The short version

Information we collect

Automatically collected, standard web data. Like virtually every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard server and CDN request logs — IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages requested. This is used to serve the site reliably and to detect abuse, and it is retained only for a limited period.

Aggregate analytics. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful (for example, page-view counts and a single anonymous “affiliate link clicked” event). We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites.

What we do NOT collect. We do not collect your name, email, address, phone number, or payment details, because we never ask for them and sell nothing directly. Purchases happen entirely on the retailer’s own checkout.

Cookies

The site itself uses little to no cookies for its own operation. The meaningful cookies in play are affiliate-attribution cookies set by the retailers we link to. When you click through to Amazon or another store, that store may set a cookie so that, if you buy, the retailer knows the visit came from us and pays us a commission — at no extra cost to you. Those cookies are governed by each retailer’s own privacy and cookie policies. See our affiliate disclosure for how the affiliate relationship works.

How we use data

We do not use your data for advertising targeting or profile-building.

Third parties

Our hosting (Vercel) and any analytics provider process data as our service providers. The retailers we link to (Amazon, Wayfair, AJ Madison, Best Buy, manufacturer stores, and others) are independent companies with their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave our site. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any retailer before you buy.

Your choices & rights

Because we don’t collect personal information from you, there is generally nothing for us to look up, correct, or delete. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, use private/incognito browsing, or use a tracker-blocking extension without affecting your ability to read the site. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights regarding personal data; since we hold no personal profiles on you, most requests will simply confirm that we have nothing on file. To ask, contact us via our support page.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves — for example, if we enable a new analytics tool. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here rather than emailed, since we hold no mailing list.
